The still life has excellent tone; the artist intentionally blurred the edges slightly to emphasize the sharpness of the main composition (the objects in the center). I like this technique in still lifes
Overall, I liked it, but I have some thoughts. The hanging branches add a decorative element that distances the work from reality; you start to wonder about the rationality of a strawberry sprig in a jug.
Elena Davydova, L_A_D, Viktor Balalaikin, it's gotten colder and dreary outside, and I'm drawn to warm colors. Jak Trum, Viktor Atapin, I agree. I'm not really fond of this corner today. When I was working on it, it seemed to suit me :). Next, I'm more bothered by the climbing redcurrant branches. Thanks everyone
This lower left corner is in an area of very interesting secondary illumination and would likely appeal to viewers for its color and delicate lightness. And this would indeed be the case, were it not for the strict approach to the compositional space of the works as a whole.
Indeed, the tone is pleasant. Very soft (and even somewhat ), as if smoky.
