Yakov, I have a question... why did they leave such a trivial silhouette? I like it better in the preview... However, I won't insist, since I'm looking at it on a 12-inch laptop, so I might not be able to give an objective assessment.
Irinny, Irina, it's not the monitor, of course. )) I didn't photograph anyone intentionally. There are shots of the garden with and without silhouettes.) Here, the figure seemed appropriate to me: compositionally, first of all. Besides, I don't really understand what a "trivial silhouette" is...)) Would a male figure be considered non-trivial here?
PAVELKO VLADIMIR, Vladimir, I don't think so. I understand your train of thought, though. ))) You know, I rarely take shots like this without figures or silhouettes.)) But I'll post some without people.
PAVELKO VLADIMIR, yes, I like this version. In this case, the picture isn't everyday?)
Yakov Trembovolsky, In this version, the figure is compositionally justified, whereas in the original, at least for me, it looks like it just happened to be in the frame.
PAVELKO VLADIMIR, Irinny, the figure here is definitely secondary. If left as is, I prefer the perspective and rhythm. But I completely understand your opinion and was prepared for it.)) Perhaps, if Vladimir had posted such a card, I would have started cutting out the figure too. Although I am always looking for "random passersby."
Rjd1512, I'm glad you like this option. But I'm always interested in other opinions, especially if they're from Pavelko and Irina. That's normal. And even good.
Well, I hope you sing anyway, if your soul sings ))))
I'm always interested in other opinions
I was sure of it
I'm always looking for "random passersby."
I'm also a big fan of random passersby, and I really like that about your style, but nevertheless, sometimes they simplify things... and yes, they lead to such polarized opinions
Somehow... despite my love for the color and flavor of citrus, in this photograph my eye is constantly drawn to the beautiful, out-of-focus trunk in the center of the frame. And that's it...
Svetlana Plashkova, Svetlana, photographed obvious and simple things: primarily color, and then rhythm, perspective, diagonal, plus the outline of a woman's figure as a symbol, a detail. What happened?)) The inappropriateness of the figure was discussed here. The other elements seem to be present in the photo, in my opinion. I also guessed that these were citrus fruits.
Yakov Trembovolsky, I probably wrote a little inaccurately about eye movement. The first point is the nearest tree on the left. Then my favorite one is out of focus. Next is the second closest tree, and finally, the woman's figure. And then the gaze gets lost. It's a bit of a jump and that's it.
And also... because the gnarled tree and the woman's figure are out of focus and stand out against the background... I have associations: legs-tree... and the legs are worse for it.
Svetlana Plashkova, now it's clearer...) Well, I have nothing to add. There will be a couple more photos in this spirit.) Maybe things will turn out differently. Thank you.
The preview really did make the shot seem like a home-made shot—I was surprised by the number of recommendations and comments, so I went for it. ))). When viewing it full-size, I was so impressed by how vividly the oranges were presented and the depth conveyed that nothing else mattered. )))). Cool!!!
top-lena, thank you: the vibrant color and perspective (depth)—that's what I wanted to convey, as I was impressed myself. It's a shame the photo doesn't convey the scent yet. But I'm sure it's coming soon.
However, I won't insist, since I'm looking at it on a 12-inch laptop, so I might not be able to give an objective assessment.

I feel sorry for my colleagues, I apologize.
Yakov, you have a wonderful sense of volume, a subtle conveyance of personal feelings.
I'm very happy for you!

Or maybe I'm just in that mood today :)))
PAVELKO VLADIMIR, I agree with you 100%!
but not one hundred percent.)
And also that I almost drooled!
although the author knows better
Happy holidays... past and future
Likewise, happy holidays. Good luck!
And let the silhouette stay here: well, if I remove it, only trees and grass will remain. It's boring, so what's there to talk about?
